Is there any benefit in buying 'faux suede' upholstery?
I was recently asked to clean two different sofas of what both my clients referred to as “looks like suede, but isn’t”.
Faux suede looks to all intents and purposes like the real Mccoy but is actually made of a Polyester microfibre. It’s a pretty good option for upholstery as it’s hard wearing; just about indestructible really, and it looks good! It’s only downfall is that, if you choose a pale colour (as is the current trend), it does show marks readily, particularly spills.
That is where Clean Living can help. With our softened-water, high-pressure cleaning system, accompanied by a pre-clean, most marks can be accommodated. Left to dry naturally it can be brought back to its former glory.
